Antiquite´de Paris

Settled in for a photomontage play session after listening to Jonah Lehrer on Fresh Air talk about how creativity happens.  This came from a great clock face I shot while in San Diego a couple of weeks ago.  The other bits are older.   A door with stained glass panels in Amsterdam, a bit of tile border also from Amsterdam.  The flower was already on the edge of the clock and it seemed to work to make more of it.  A layer of boring old floor tile added texture.

What I like about it is its symmetry and balance.  I think it perhaps could be better with more simplicity.  Yet, I'm purely amazed to have something like this come out with no forethought in mind.  So, I'm happy with it for now!

Really like what you've done to the clock (the border and colors in the clock) -- was just thinking about this photo a few days ago. Good job!
